+Is there a fee to use the trail?
-There are no direct fees for trail use. There can however be fees for usage along the trail such as camping in nearby campgrounds. If you would like to contribute to the Colorado Trail Foundation for all of their work to maintain the trail you can do so here.
 

+How long is the Colorado Trail?
-The Bear Creek Survey currently has the trail at 487 miles
 

+Can you Mountain Bike the trail?
-Yes, the Colorado Trail is very popular with Mountain bikers. Mt Bikes are not allowed in wilderness areas so detours exists. Be sure to check before you head out to a certain part of the trail to see if you are allowed to bike there or if you need to take a bypass.

+Are permits required to hike the trail?
