From Saguache, CO (see below for slightly different directions coming from Gunnison) - Drive west on HWY 114 for 35 miles until you reach a turnoff to the left for Rd 17GG. Drive on 17GG for 5.25 miles where it ends:

Turn south onto 15GG. It is 21 miles of more dirt road to the TH from this point. Continue for 4.2 miles where 15GG basically becomes 14DD. There is a gate and sign here:

This road is also called FS794 and many of the signs you see from here on out are small 794 signs. Continue another 3.9 miles on 14DD (794) and you will come across a sign on your right for the Historic Stage Route:

At 9.85 miles there is a Y in the road. Continue to follow 794 to the right. Another Y will greet you at 12 miles, stay left, again following 794. The rest of the road is easy to follow. At one point you will cross Nutras creek. After gaining some elevation the road will begin descending down to Stewart Creek. There are some nice campsites in this area along the road. You will see a turnoff for the Stewart Creek TH just before reaching the actual Eddiesville TH. There is camping at this TH and parking for probably 25 vehicles. There is no restroom and no services of any kind here, although water is plentiful.
